Who can request transportation?

Who does Evergreen Ambulance Serve?

We cover people who need non-emergency basic life support medical transport living in Clackamas, Multnomah, and Washington counties in Oregon. 

How is the organization Funded?

We receive no direct tax dollars for our services. Our ability to provide services and purchase lifesaving equipment relies on contracts with Coordinated Care Organizations in Oregon and insurance company reimbursements. While health care costs continue to rise, we use fundraising, donations, and contracts with facilities to offset the costs that are not covered by insurance companies. 

What is Evergreens Service area?

We serve people living in the Clackamas, Multnomah, and washington County area in Oregon.

How much do reimbursements Cover?

We are currently focused on direct Contracts. Medicaid and Medicare billing do not cover all transport service charges. Even contracts with higher rates, such as through Coordinated Care Organizations, may still have unpaid service costs. We use fundraising to fill that gap.
